Some of my favourite festival photographs happen between the obvious stage moments. During UNKLE x Steven Weston, I found people dancing as if nobody else existed—and one passing stranger who joined the frame at exactly the right time.

UNKLE and Steven Weston shaped the sound and visual atmosphere, but some of the photographs I value most came from looking sideways: people absorbed in the set, dancing freely and briefly becoming part of the story themselves.

So yeah, here I am, capturing candid moments while these two beautiful creatures dance the hell out of themselves, and this magnificient piece of a man walks in and starts flowing into the UNKLE performance. That was funny and I am thankful to be able to capture these moments anyway. Thank you, dude, thank you, girls 🖤
